Speech Language Services

Speech language services here at Mililani Waena includes evaluating, providing therapy, and developing individualized educational programs for students identified with language delays, articulation disorders, language learning disorders, hearing impairment, and fluency in spoken speech difficulties.  Speech language services are also provided for students with autism to increase their communication abilities in the academic environment.

Therapy sessions may be conducted in a group, individual or combination of both in the speech room or the classroom depending on student needs.

A “Speech Club” is also conducted for students not meeting developmental milestones.  These sessions are conducted in small groups to address communication needs.
