Lunch Loans:

The Department of Education ended its practice of unlimited "lunch loans" to students who do not have funds in their meal accounts.

Weekly low balance notices (white strip of paper) will be sent for students who have less than $5.00 in their account. Your attention and cooperation to this matter is appreciated.

If you receive a loan status notice (green strip of paper), this indicates there are no funds in your child's meal account and the account has a negative balance.  Please deposit funds as soon as possible.

In the event your child's account is in loan status, we ask that you provide a "home lunch" until the loan is paid and additional funds deposited in order to keep the amount of the loan amount small.  In addition, students with loan status accounts will not be able to eat breakfast.  Again, your attention and cooperation is appreciated.

Accounts with excess funds will be refunded when your child leaves the school or the State.
