Overview

Mililani Waena Elementary annually participates in the Character Counts! Mililani Complex Invitational Cross Country Meet “Pursuing Victory with Honor." The mission of the Cross Country Meet is to promote the Pillars of Character (Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship or TRRFCC) as we pursue victory in friendly competition. This is a goodwill activity and all coaches and teachers are expected to actively teach, enforce, advocate, and model (TEAM) good character on and off the field.

Select 3rd, 4th and 5th graders are chosen to be part of the team. Students practice 3 times a week to prepare for the 1 mile course that will be held at Mililani Middle School in late October.
