Dear Mililani Waena Ohana,
As our summer begins, I would like to express how fortunate I am to be the principal of such an amazing communityof students, parents, teachers and staff. It has been such an incredible year, with many successes. These achievements would not have been possible without the support of everyone.
As I reflect on this past year, we have made many memoriesthat will always be a part of our journey through life. I would also like to wish our 5th graders the best of luck as they transition to the middle school. Keep reaching for your goals because the world is out there for you to make your mark.
We had two exceptional teachers, Mrs. Takara and Mrs. Nakama, recently retire. Over the past thirty years, they set the foundation for many students at Mililani Waena. I am thankful for their years of service wish them a HAPPY RETIREMENT. I am truly grateful for all they have done! In addition, we say farewell to Vice Principal Taylor who will be returning home to Virginia. Her leadership, insights, warmth and friendship will be missed!
Have a wonderful summer break. Take the time to do the things you love as you follow the TRRFCC traits. See you all when you return for our 2019-2020 school year as Empowered Citizens.
