Free Grab and Go Meals for Children Under 18 During Spring Break

Free Grab and Go breakfast and lunch meals for children under 18 are available during spring break. These free meals can be picked up at Leilehua High School starting Monday, March 23rd.

Breakfast pick up is from 7:30 - 8:00 AM

Lunch pick up is from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM

These free meals are available for children under 18. Children are not required to bring an ID.

The free Grab and Go Meals begin on March 23rd.

The meals are not available on Thursday, March 26th due to the Prince Kuhio holiday.

Fitness Fun Day on Friday!

This Friday is our annual Fitness Fun Day. We have a host of exhilarating, kid-friendly activities that gets kids moving while encouraging team-work and physical coordination. Students should wear comfortable clothing such as t-shirts, shorts, and athletic shoes. They should bring a water bottle as well and put on sunscreen. Hats are optional. If you signed up to volunteer, please report to the library by 7:45 AM.

Science and Engineering Fair and National History Day

The Central District Science and Engineering Fair took place on Friday, February 28th with participation from our 5th grade students. Mililani Waena won first and third place in the Engineering and Design category and numerous students received special commendations for their projects from local businesses. At the Central District National History Fair on Saturday, February 29, 6 of our 16 participants qualified for state competition. Congratulations to all of our students for their outstanding work!

Central District Spelling Bee

We are extremely proud of fifth grader Noah Banks for finishing in the top four (round 6) at the Central District Spelling Bee on February 6. In addition, fifth grader Reid Ramos made it to round 3. This is the furthest Mililani Waena students have progressed at the spelling bee.

A+ After School Program Fee

The monthly enrollment fee for the A+ After-School Program has increased to $120 per month per child. Applicants can inquire about financial assistance based upon income level. A+ sign up packets are available in the office.
