3rd Grade - Mrs. Rich Assignments

There will be no homework for the last week of school! Please remember that Monday, May 27 is a holiday: there is no school. Also, Wednesday will be out a 2:05 so that Friday can be let out early at 1:00. I will be sending home almost all of your students books and supplies on Thursday, May 30th, so please make sure they bring a backpack, perhaps even an extra bag. Thank you for a great year!

We have a field trip on Monday to the wetlands. Please bring a home lunch, as we will be getting back after the cafeteria is closed. We will be eating in the classroom, so you can put it in a lunchbox, or disposable container. Please also bring a snack and water bottle, as we will be having a late lunch. We will eat the snack at the wetlands, so please make sure it is disposable. Have students wear clothes that can get dirty and close-toed shoes as it could be slightly muddy.

 

Because we will not have time for math on Monday, I have moved Tuesday's reading homework to Monday, and Monday's math homework to Tuesday.

Due to the government shutdown, our field trip will now be February 25th. There will be a new form coming home next week. Also, due to technological difficulties, the math SBA is now scheduled for January 28th.

If you would like to get ahead and do your KidBiz earlier in the week, that is okay. I was thinking about giving all of the homework at the beginning of the week with the same due dates, but as the math and much of the reading goes along with what we do in class that day, I decided that it would be too confusing.
