Welcome students and families of B1-C! I am excited to work with you and your child for the 2016-2017 school year! It is my focus to prepare your child with the necessary skills to be successful at the middle school.
A little bit about me...I was born and raised in Oahu. I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where I received a Bachelors in Education dual majoring in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I love playing volleyball and taking my dog to the beach.
I believe that communication is important to help your child become a successful learner. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions/concerns through email, joni_tamamoto@notes.k12.hi.us by phone at 627-7300 ext. 239, or by writing in your child’s school planner. I will be happy to answer any questions and work with you to the best of my ability. I'm looking forward to an amazing 2016-2017 school year filled with fun, adventure, and opportunity!

I hope you enjoy looking through the student's work as they "wayfind" throughout this school year!
