Grade 3 - Mrs. Manoa - Homework

Course Description

Homework will be assigned and collected daily. There are at least two main types of homework you can expect to see every day:
  • Math: Assignments will utilize the mathematical strategies learned in class to solve problems.
  • Reading: The assigned readings and comprehension skills are aligned with what your child has done in class.
Your child will also be coming home with a Stamp Sheet daily. The stamp sheet provides a snapshot of your child’s day in regards to attendance, assignments, and behavior. Bonus stamps can be received by demonstrating excellent behavior and/or excellent quality of work. Students who consistently earn a high amount of stamps receive rewards at the end of each week. The stamp sheet can also be used as an easy way for you and your child to communicate questions, comments, or FYI’s with me.

Can you believe that the month of April is coming to an end?! Thank you for working so hard on your learning activities last week. I notice that many of you started off the week strong by completing many of the activities. Try to stay consistent with your work habits for the rest of the week. I’m looking forward to reading and giving feedback on the work that you post on SeeSaw.
